Financial support for Game Development Camp
We are pleased to offer scholarship opportunities to assist with the cost of attending Game Development Camp.
This scholarship allows promising students to learn about the design and production of games at the Game Development Camp at a reduced cost.
Recipients receive a partial scholarship towards the standard enrollment fee of one Game Development Camp week-long session.
This scholarship honors the memory of Mike Sellers, a professor of practice and director of game design in The Media School who died in 2022. Mike was extremely supportive of the Game Development Camp, and his friends and family created this annual scholarship to preserve his helpful spirit.
The Alchemist Scholarship is awarded to one camper and covers $500 toward tuition for an in-person camp.
Apply for any or all of the scholarships using the form on this page (available soon!). You will be asked to provide:
- An official copy of your transcript (a photo is acceptable)
- Contact information for a teacher or principal who has agreed to recommend you
- An essay for each scholarship you're applying for
Applications are due April 27th.
