Financial support for Game Development Camp
We are pleased to offer scholarship opportunities to assist with the cost of attending Game Development Camp summer pre-college programs. We have both general awards of various amounts and one memorial award, the Alchemist Scholarship, which honors the memory of Mike Sellers. Mike was a professor of practice and director of game design in The Media School who passed away in 2022. Mike was extremely supportive of the Game Development Camp, and his friends and family created this annual scholarship to preserve his helpful spirit.
The Alchemist Scholarship is awarded to one camper and covers $500 toward tuition for an in-person camp.
Anyone who is interested in attending one of our Game Development Camp pre-college programs is eligible to apply for a scholarship.
We will let you know no later than April 27th, 2026 if you have been awarded a scholarship. In the meantime, you may either make a partial payment, pay in full, or wait to make payment until after being notified of your award status. For more information, please see our FAQ page.
