3D Overnight Camp June 2-6
Greetings 3D Overnight Camp participants and parents!
We are incredibly excited to host such a talented group of young students in Bloomington this summer and provide a wonderful experience to help you further your passion and create a tight-knit network of friendships as you explore 3D Game Development!
To make the most of your week, we stress that you must read this page thoroughly. If you thought your student was in a different session, then please reply immediately.
First, this year we are switching to electronic forms instead of the paper forms from years past. On Monday, 5/19 we will send out links to the forms.

Pick-up/Finale Event
Friday, June 6th, from 4:30-6pm EST
Franklin Hall (601 E Kirkwood Ave. Bloomington, IN 47405)
Rm. 073
The finale event will be in the same classroom area where students go each day. Students will be presenting their projects to friends and family open house style. You will be picking up your child after the showcase. We will have staff waiting by the main south wooden doors to Franklin Hall. This entrance is located by the Ernie Pyle statue. See the downloadable maps with information about parking near Franklin Hall.
Since ticketing will still be active until 5pm, we do not recommend parking in an EM-S/EM-P spot for the Friday finale. You can find street parking available or use the Poplars Garage (Park Mobile app is used for payment code "44000")
MEALS
Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner
Campers will be provided breakfast items (fruit cups, granola bars etc) at the Collins Residence Hall lounge before they leave to go to the classroom for the day. The campers will not need to use their meal points for breakfast foods.
The campers will be eating lunch and dinner at the Forest Residence Hall Food Court (a 19-minute 0.8 mile walk from Franklin Hall). Each student will be given a meal card that allows them access to the dining hall. All meals are all-you-care-to-eat, so there won’t be any issue of running out of money.
Food Allergies/Dietary Restrictions
If you haven’t already let us know, please email us to let us know if we need to be made aware of any food allergies or dietary restrictions. This information will affect the breakfasts and snacks we provide.
Generally, there is plenty of food to accommodate all diet types at the Forest Food Court. An RPS Registered Dietician will be on staff, so please feel free to contact them prior to the session for specific dietary discussions. Customers with life-threatening allergies should use caution. Request to speak with the chef at dining locations to prepare food in allergen-free areas for your specific dietary needs.
To inform us of food allergies or any additional questions, please contact:

THINGS TO BRING / ROOMMATES
For a packing list, please go here.
On Friday morning, students will walk their belongings from Collins to Franklin Hall as they check out of the dorm. This is a 9-minute 0.4 mile walk, so please bear this in mind as you pack. If there are any accessability concerns, we can make special arrangements with your student for luggage transportation, just email us and let us know.
Students generally all have one roommate. We are always able to get the roommate within one grade in either direction (ex. a rising 9th grader could be with either a rising 9th, 8th or 10th grader). If you have any special requests regarding roommate situations, please email gamecamp@iu.edu.
